A few weeks ago, I was invited to speak at ID Tech Ex 2018 in Santa Clara, California. I gave a talk on the five factors that are putting pressure on manufacturers and making it harder to keep doing the same thing and to still get the same results. In this talk, I walk through the factors and some strategies for mitigating them – particularly around the importance of traceability and visibility, as a foundation for more advanced technologies that are proactive or optimize in ways previously not possible.
